How do I submit a paper?
Submit your full paper through Microsoft CMT; papers and abstracts sent by e-mail are not considered. The submission link appears on the call for papers page as soon as submissions for INTCEC 2027 open.
Prepare the paper with the INTCEC Word template or LaTeX template. After you submit, the format check e-mails you a PDF report if anything must change.
When is the paper submission deadline?
Full papers are due on 2 July 2027 (end of the day, Anywhere on Earth), and decisions are sent on or before 16 July 2027. The submission system (Microsoft CMT) opens with the call for papers: leave your e-mail address on the home page and we will tell you the day it opens. All dates are on the important dates page.
What is the format check?
Every new paper first goes through the INTCEC format check, before peer review. Right after you submit, the format checker compares your paper with the INTCEC template. You receive an e-mail with a PDF report: screenshots of your own pages, marked where something must change, with how to fix it.
Formatting is settled before review, so it does not hold up a revision later. See how it works.
How much is the registration fee?
INTCEC 2027 fees: an author presenting in Chicago pays 650 USD (600 USD early bird), IEEE members and students 600 USD (550 USD early bird) and an online presenter 400 USD (350 USD early bird). Listeners attending in Chicago pay 550 USD (500 USD early bird). Each additional paper costs 350 USD (300 USD early bird) and each extra page 50 USD. The early-bird fees apply when you register and pay by 30 July 2027; registration closes on 27 August 2027. See all fees on the registration page.
How do I get an invitation letter for my US visa?
Authors of accepted papers receive an acceptance letter. Once your registration and payment are complete, the letter also states that your registration is complete, and we can address it to the embassy — this is the letter to use for your US visa application. Request it on the venue page, by e-mail or on WhatsApp. Papers still in Revision cannot get a letter yet.
Start your visa application early: a letter does not guarantee a visa. If the visa is refused, you can switch to online presentation.
Can I present online?
Yes. INTCEC runs in-person sessions in Chicago and online sessions via Zoom. Online presentation has its own registration category (400 USD, or 350 USD with the early-bird fees until 30 July 2027).
